|

|
Linda Bulgo
is sharing her singing, dancing, acting and musical theater expertise
with children, and is helping them develop their own skills in the performing
arts.
After
Linda volunteered to direct Peter Pan at Miraloma Elementary School in
San Francisco, a seed was planted from which a family has grown. The outstanding
students in the cast, nurtured by the support of parents, friends, audiences,
and dozens of others behind the scenes, have grown into a cohesive group
which continues to produce some great performances. Linda's Musical Theatre Workshops for Kids includes singing, dancing and acting. This is a safe enviroment where children can use their imagination and flourish as a performer. They will not only learn their craft, but get experience performing. Upon conclusion, kids will perform a 60-70 minute show.

--Holly, Mom –Boy, 2nd grade “Peter Pan -- what a whirlwind experience! From audition through final curtain call, Linda kept our children motivated, excited, and engaged. Our children grew and matured right before our eyes in so many ways: sharing, caring, singing, dancing, laughing, loving life. We cannot wait for rehearsals to begin this spring for the new play. On with the show!” --Joyce, Mom to boy 1st, Girl 3rd "Our daughter had such a wonderful time working with Linda on "Peter Pan." Linda not only treated the kids like professional actors and kept high expectations for their efforts and focus, her constant enthusiasm, supportive attitude, and grace under pressure were amazing gifts to the kids." “My son had a small speaking part in the school play during his 5th grade year. It was amazing for us to watch this shy boy who had very low self esteem get up on the stage and become another character. Throughout the experience we watched his self esteem grow and by the end of the play he was feeling successful and happy about many of his accomplishments on and off the stage.” --Katie, Boy 5th “I’d like to make sure everyone realized what a star Linda is for Directing and running such an excellent children’s production of Peter Pan. My son had a speaking part (minor) and LOVED every minute! His sister had a chorus role and equally loved it – different ages, 9 and 6 respectively, and I felt secure that their talents were being developed with humor, charm, common sense, and a great appreciation of what children can bring to an adventure like this. They came back beaming from rehearsals and eager to learn their part and contribute, and parents and children alike loved the results, and mostly the fun of being part of such an enterprise! “ --Rose, Mom to Boy 4th, Girl 1st “Linda is a wonderful director and knows exactly how to get the best out of children in their performances.” “My son was reluctant to audition, but joined his friends. We saw a major transition in his self esteem, which translated to new skills in the classroom. Soon, he was delivering his book reports with confidence and new abilities! His teacher was astonished.” --Boy, 3rd grade "I’d like to make sure everyone realized what a star Linda is for directing and running such an excellent children’s production of Peter Pan. " --Girl, 1st, Boy 4th "Both of my children loved participating in Miraloma Elementary production of Peter Pan. One was an Indian in the play and the other was back stage and working on the sets. Both girls grew and learned so much about themselves and what it takes to put on a performance. It was inspirational to them and now both would like to be in another play. Linda was very patient and clear about her vision." --Girls, 4th and 1st grade "Linda built on my daughter's love of the spotlight to create a real passion for stagecraft. Linda helped her build on her strengths, always encouraging her to take risks and fly high. The final performances of all Linda's students were amazing and so moving!" --Girls, 3rd, 5th grade
